Mildred D. Muhammad - DV Survivor, Advocate, Consultant, Author & Motivational Speaker
After The Trauma
has been established because there are not enough resources or information available for Survivors of domestic violence.

Mildred began After The Trauma, Inc., as the Founder/Executive Director.  Keeping her promise within herself to help other survivors, she used her personal funds to start it.  She strives to enlighten more people that you don’t have to have physical scars to be a victim/survivor of domestic violence while working with victims/survivors that come to the organization for assistance.

She is not only speaking to survivors directly, but helps them through their individual situations. She is always available for those who need her most, because she understands, first hand what it feels like to be a victim and a survivor of domestic violence. She publishes and archives a monthly newsletter on www.afterthetrauma.org  and sends it to those on the organization’s mailing list

This organizations' purpose is to assist the Survivor in everything she needs to make the transition from existing to living. We will assist the Survivor with the programs we offer within this organization and by locating as many resources we can find that will benefit her and her children.

And because TRAUMA is a REAL factor for Survivors and their children... counseling will be provided

After the Trauma, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Your generous donations are tax deductible.
